What to do with a spill on your carpet

Do not rub and scrub or over wet your carpet in an attempt to clean up the mess. You should start by removing any solids and BLOT with kitchen paper towel. Mix a solution of 10ml of wool wash in a cup of water and BLOT onto the spot. BLOT again with water only, then BLOT dry. Repeat this process if necessary without over wetting the carpet. Best not to use the wonder cleaning products from supermarkets, they leave a sticky residue in your carpet that is hard to remove even for a large truck mounted machine like ours.
